The stage - coach on the Po river
A route in boat on this drawn of water that
connects the tourist port of Polesine to Torricella , in the Sissa territory . From these two
points of berthing it is possible to catch
up, with the bicycles, the numerous places
of artistic-cultural and naturalistic interest
of the area . From Polesine, in small time, we can arrive to Busseto, the famous town in order to have accommodated
the great composer Giuseppe Verdi. Here we can visit : the beautiful Verdiano Theatre, a small jewel compared to La Scala , inaugurated
in 1868 and recently restored ; Verdi square
on which there are the Rocca, the Church
of the Collegiata and , in the center of
the square , the bronze monument of the Master.
Near Busseto there is Roncole Verdi, where the native house is found, while
, at 3 kilometers from Busseto, in province
of Piacenza, can be visited its last residence
: Villa Verdi . To approximately 7 kilometers
from the port of Torricella it is arrived
to Colorno,where is found the splendid Reggia, as well
as to be called “ The Little Versailles ", to be been born like residence of
the dynasty of the Farnese and subsequently
dwelling of the Maria Luigia Dukess . Here
it is possible to admire the gorgeous halls
and the beautiful garden, brought back to
the ancient splendors . In the forests surrounding
the Reggia we can relax in the park, typical example
of Po fluvial atmosphere, and travel with
the bicycles all the main bank catching up
